Build A Basketball Dynasty Ranked Checklist

Ranked is where Build A Basketball Dynasty GMs get impatient. This checklist is meant to be screenshotted. The long prose lives in How to climb ranked and the August ladder notes. Do not queue until the top block is all yes.

Gate (must be yes)

• All five positions have a card.
• I can name each card’s role in one word.
• No two starters share that word.
• I watched this five in at least one league game.
• I am not coming off two ranked losses in a row.
• Roblox 2FA is on (because tilt-shopping “scripts” is how accounts die — safety).

If any line is no, stop. The queue will still be there in 20 minutes.

OVR sanity

• Gold: complete five, mid-80s is acceptable.
• Platinum: hole filled, high-80s / low-90s.
• Diamond: Shinies on the five or a GOAT in a hole.
• Elite / Legend: do not meme. OVR planner.

Set rules

1. Queue three matches or two losses, whichever first.
2. After a loss, change one card, not five.
3. After two losses, go to league or Index. Index.
4. After a win streak of three, take a drink of water like a human. Then decide if Elite is for tonight.

You do not skip. You climb. Screenshot each pop; ladders reset.

Tilt extras people forget

• Codes redeemed already? Do not open the Codes GUI mid-set. Codes.
• Luck item active? Fine for packs, irrelevant in a match.
• Shop accidentally hovered? Back out. Auto-clickers misclick here.
• Friend in party wanting to “just try a 3-PG five”? Decline.

After the set

Write: W-L, hole exposed, card you will roll for tomorrow. That sentence is the whole point of ranked besides badges. If you cannot name the hole, you learned nothing and the ladder did not matter.

Queue when the gate is green. Leave when it is not. That discipline is more Legend than one extra 99.

Mobile versus PC before you queue

On phone, confirm you can actually tap Leave if a sim hangs. Covering the HUD with a third-party overlay is how people sit in a loss they cannot exit. On PC, turn off extra clicker software so Shop is not one misclick away. Ranked does not need a script overlay; it needs five named roles and a sober queue button.

If you just redeemed a code, open the packs before the set, not between games. Mid-set pack luck is tilt with extra steps. Put leftover luck items on a later Index session instead — collection Index is a better dump for restless clicks than Diamond.

Write tomorrow’s pack target as a position, not a player name. “Need a four” is a plan. “Need that 99 from the trailer” is how you ignore a 91 unicorn sitting in the bag. Pair this list with the OVR planner so the lobby number and the role words agree.
